Cornhole COVID-19 Safety Compliance Rules

1. All players will be required to sign a supplemental waiver acknowledging the risks and waiving liability relative to COVID-19, prior to playing.
2. Each lane will be marked off either with tape or physical barriers.  Only the 4 individuals participating in the game (2 players per team) will be permitted within that area.  All players not actively competing will be required to comply with the usual standards established by the bar/restaurant venue.
3. Lanes will be separated from one another to ensure at least 6 feet exist between idle players on separate lanes.
4. Players are discouraged from inviting guests that aren’t registered players.
5. A LexSSC staff member will oversee compliance with all rules throughout the event.
6. All matches will be played outdoors due to indoor capacity restrictions and for safety.

1. All LexSSC staff will wear a face mask at all times during the event.
2. While not required, players are encouraged to wear face masks during their match.  A reusable cotton mask will be provided to all players on the first date of return, or they can choose to use their own.

1. Each team’s bags will be restricted to that team.  Players should avoid picking up or contacting bags belonging to the other team.
2. A single score keeper will be designated prior to the start of each game. Only that person may update the scoreboard.
3. All players will refrain from handshakes or any other physical contact.
4. Players should remain at least 6 feet apart whenever possible.

1. Hand sanitizer will be available near each board.  Players are encouraged to use hand sanitizer prior to starting their match, and after they are finished playing their matched.
2. Scoreboards and cornhole board surfaces will be sprayed and wiped with Lysol before each match.
3. Cornhole bags will be soaked washed with concentrated laundry detergent and water and dried, and kept in sanitary isolation prior to the evening’s matches.  They will be used for a single match, and replaced with fresh, washed bags for subsequent matches.  These bags will be washed in this manner each week.

1. The venue may require additional rules, TBD, which will at least include wearing a face mask when entering and leaving the building.
