Softball - Monday "City Rules" (Fall) (Archived)

This new format is closer to Lexington's city league rules.  It is expected that this league will take on a more competitive flavor.  Rule changes include:

• Open rosters and batting order; while both men and women are welcome, there is no alternating batting requirement nor gender minimums for the roster, and no special gender-oriented rules.  All rules apply equally to both genders.
• Standard NSA bat requirements.  Players may use any NSA- or ASA- approved bat, including composite and multi wall bats, provided it is officially marked.
• Standard NSA rules apply throughout game in most cases.

Recreational co-ed softball.  The fall season will be played at Kirklevington and Idle Hour Parks. Game start times from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

This league features:

• Sign up by yourself, with a group of friends or whole team
• Co-ed, over-21 play
• Official Lexington Sports & Social Club T-Shirt (your uniform for the season!)
• 7 games minimum (mix of regular season and postseason games)
• TWO (2) umpires for each game
• Socializing at the bar after the game.
